Stefanos Fragos

CEO - Allied Shipbroking

Stefanos Fragos serves as the CEO of Allied Shipbroking since February 2025.  He brings over two decades of experience in ship financing, having held key leadership roles across traditional banking and fintech institutions lending in shipping.

Prior to joining Allied, Stefanos led the corporate finance advisory business in Greece for a major international ship borking institution, where he was responsible for developing financing options for a diverse range of shipowners mainly based in Greece.

Earlier in his career, Stefanos established and headed the ship lending business of a US-based financial technology platform supporting small to mid-sized shipowners.

Stefanos’ expertise in ship finance was developed during an 18-year tenure at a leading German ship finance bank. During the final five years of this period, he was responsible for originating and managing a diversified portfolio of term loans for internationally renowned shipowners.

Stefanos holds a BSc and MSc in Marine Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and an MSc in Shipping Trade & Finance from BAYES Business School.
