COO - Columbia Blue

Julia Siebert is the COO of COLUMBIA blue – The Leisure Group and Managing Director of its two largest brands, COLUMBIA cruise services and COLUMBIA signature.

Born and raised in Bremerhaven, her proximity to the North Sea naturally influenced her career path. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Cruise Industry Management, followed by a Master’s in European Studies. Taking advantage of semester breaks, she gained valuable hands-on experience aboard cruise vessels, setting the foundation for her maritime career.

With a passion for the industry, Julia has spent the past 20 years in diverse roles across the cruise sector. Her career journey spans top management, project management, operations, and product management, working with leading tour operators, third-party managers, and ship chandlers. Among her key achievements are leading roles in five cruise line start-ups and her involvement in major cruise vessel conversion projects.
