John Pittalis

Chief Executive – Jomaro Group

John holds a B.Sc. (Econ) in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having trained with Price Waterhouse, London. He then joined his father’s firm, K J Pittalis in 1986. The practice marked 65 years in 2023. He is a long-serving business leader with a career spanning accountancy, family business leadership, and non-executive board service.
Since 1988, John has served as CEO/director of Jomaro (U.K.) Ltd, overseeing the financial affairs of the family’s UK property group. Since 2000, he has led the Jomaro Group’s Cyprus-based businesses, spanning Intergaz Ltd (LPG storage and distribution, established 1973), Jomaro Ltd (LPG import and transport, established 1982), and the Seagas ship-owning companies (established 2005).
His external board experience includes the Cyprus Development Bank Public Co. Ltd (Non-Executive Director, 2008–2015), VLPG Plant Ltd (2016–2025), and the Cyprus Shipping Chamber (Director, from 2024). He is also an Ambassador for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice (from 2024). He was appointed to the finance committee of The Queen’s Club, London, from 2026.
