Managing Director with extensive professional experience and career in shipping spanning over 25 years in managerial positions with ship owning and ship management companies.
Responsibility for formulating and implementing the business strategy of Uniteam Marine across the globe and the development, growth and smooth operation of the company.
Leading by example. Ensures strict adherence to the Company’s Code of Conduct, policies, business ethics and values. Helping to facilitate sound corporate governance by ensuring trustworthy relations between the corporation and its stakeholders.
Member of the team which provides support to the CEO in strategic matters and in the alignment of individual company goals with the group’s overall targets and objectives.
Member of the Board of Directors (BOD) of the Uniteam Group of Companies.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber since 2011 and Ex- Chairman of the Chamber’s Law committee. Member of the Board of Directors of Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus).
Founding Member of the Cyprus Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Served in the branch’s committee from several posts including those of the Secretary and Chairman. Represented the branch in the Institute’s Controlling Council meetings.
Member of the Board of Governors of the Cyprus Maritime Academy.
