President & CEO – DryDel Shipping

Costas Delaportas is the President & CEO of DryDel Shipping Inc., a leading shipowning and operating dry bulk company headquartered in Voula, Greece. With over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and expansion.

Since 2000, Mr. Delaportas has served as the Commercial & Chartering Director of the company. In 2021, he assumed the role of President & CEO, leading the company into a new era of development. He established DryDel’s Singapore office in 2010, followed by the Dubai office in 2018. Under his leadership, DryDel expanded further with new operating offices in São Paulo (2024) & Houston (2025).

Mr. Delaportas has successfully concluded contracts for over 25 newbuilding vessels with leading Japanese shipyards and has arranged key financing deals, strengthening DryDel’s relationships with global partners and international banks.
