Marine Officer - Cyprus Shipping Chamber

Chrysostomos Efthymiou is the Marine Officer of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber. He holds a BSc in Trade, Shipping and Finance from the Cyprus University of Technology and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. He is responsible for the Crewing and Training, the Marine, the Health, Safety and Environment, the Digitalisation, the Offshore Activities and the Educational Activities Committees. He liaises with Governmental and other professional bodies on marine-related matters affecting the Chamber.  He represents the Chamber at career fairs and delivers career presentations at schools for the further promotion of maritime and seafaring careers and administers the Chamber’s “Adopt a Ship” Programme.
