Ozgur is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Trainer, leading the company’s vision and strategic growth since 2011. With over two decades of maritime expertise, he has spearheaded the transformation of maritime workforce development through innovative digital learning technologies and advanced digital human capital management solutions.

Prior to founding Maritime Trainer, Ozgur built a comprehensive industry career spanning 12 years—serving at sea across various tanker types, shaping future talent as an academy lecturer, and directing crew training operations as Training Coordinator for two major shipping lines. He also established and managed a global crewing agency that continues to serve international maritime clients. Today, leveraging his deep operational and academic foundation, he empowers global shipping companies to optimize talent acquisition, workforce performance, and regulatory compliance in an increasingly digital industry landscape.
