Hellenic Coast Guard Headquarters Seafarers' Labour Directorate Director - Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy

Since May 2019, serving as Director of Seafarers’ Labor Directorate at the Ministry of Shipping and Insular Policy.

Expert in international shipping policy with executive experience in the Greek Maritime Administration and extensive involvement in multilateral and bilateral negotiations. Has led the Greek Delegations at ILO and IMO meetings, and recently chaired the Third IMO/ILO Joint Working Group. Actively contributed to legal preparatory committees for the reform of the Greek Code of Private Maritime Law and the harmonization of the EU Directive on adequate minimum wages.

Currently a PhD candidate in Maritime Law at the University of Aegean. Holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in International and Strategic Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in European and International Sciences from Panteion University of Athens. Graduated from the Greek Naval Academy and Maritime Academy of Aspropyrgos (Greece).
