Capt. George Vlachos

Training Consultant - Mediterranean Maritime Academy

Born in Piraeus, Capt. George A. Vlachos is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience both at sea and ashore. He has served as Master on various vessel types including Product and Chemical carriers, OBOs, and VLCCs. Ashore, he has held senior roles such as H.R. Training Director at the Tsakos Group, Crew Manager at Neda Maritime and Ceres Hellenic, and Chemical Operations Manager at Ceres. He is currently a Training Consultant at Cosmos Training Center and Mediterranean Maritime Academy, and also serves as President of the Masters and Mates Union of Greek Merchant Marine.
