Captain George Papanelopoulos is a Master Mariner with 14 years of seagoing experience and a seasoned leader in maritime education and safety. He serves as the Head of Vetting, Training & Development Department at Cyprus Sea Lines Ltd and as Academic Director at Saint Thomas Polytechnic, Singapore. Holding both an MSc and MPhil in Shipping Management, George has also served as Training Director, where he established advanced maritime training centers equipped with latest-state of the art bridge-engine and cargo simulators.
