With 35 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology – 27 of them within the maritime sector – Angelos Demetriou combines deep industry knowledge with a strong capability for managing, integrating, and transitioning systems from legacy platforms to next-generation IT and communication technologies.

Having worked both at sea and ashore, he has led IT and communications operations for the fleets of Intership Navigation and the Intermaritime Group, progressing from IT Officer to IT Manager, and currently serving as IT Manager at Raytec Digital Ocean Technologies.

Angelos is recognised for effectively managing IT onboard the vessels throughout its lifecycle, and leveraging technology to optimise communication costs, ensure resilient and flexible connectivity, and maintain continuous digital operations – keeping vessels, owners and crew reliably connected in an increasingly digital maritime environment.
