Michalis Pouris Head of Health, Safety Quality and Environmental Department for Intership Navigation and Donnelly Tanker Management Michalis Pouris is currently the head of HSQE Department for both dry and wet fleets of the Hartmann Group in Cyprus. He has graduated with a Master Degree (M.Eng.) in Marine Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and he became a qualified Ship Surveyor (Diploma in Marine Surveying) after that.
He was working as a cargo surveyor for a number of years and also as a boat surveyor under Cyprus Flag. In 2005 he joined Hartmann Group in Cyprus and since then is working in the fields of the shipboard safety, security, compliance, and environmental protection. Further to the department head position Michalis is also the company’s CSO, the Alternate DPA, the DPO, the Environmental Representative and the compliance officer of the group (Cyprus).
